About the Role
This role is offered on an hourly paid basis across multiple sites.
The Work Placement Officer plays a vital role in developing and maintaining partnerships with industry stakeholders to facilitate collaboration for work placements, and career development opportunities for students. With a specific focus on securing a large volume of work experience and T-level industry placement opportunities, this role involves networking, relationship building, and coordinating initiatives to bridge the gap between education and industry. Develop and implement strategies to engage with industry partners and stakeholders to source large volumes of work experience and T-Level industry placement opportunities. Achieve established targets for the number of leaners placed into work experience and industry placements.

About You
We're looking for a reliable and motivated individual who takes pride in delivering excellent service. You should bring:
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and efficiency
* Contribute to the continued development of teaching, learning and assessment materials as part of the College's group tutorial scheme.
* Be committed to professional self-development, through participation in-service training as necessary for the successful carrying out of the job.
* Support Learners achieve their Minimum and Aspiration target grades by undertaking regular 1:1 review with a caseload of approximately 250 students.
* Liaise closely with relevant staff, parents/carers and external stakeholders in supporting students identified as being at risk. Engage with stakeholders during open events, parents evenings or prospective student interviews.
* To comply with and promote College Health and Safety policies and procedures and to undertake recommended Health and Safety training as and when necessary.
* Undertake such other duties as are commensurate with the grade of the post, as may be reasonably required at the initial place of work or at other locations in the College.
