About the Role: Lecturer In SEND
The post holder will be primarily responsible for providing effective teaching, assessment and tutoring on programmes for students with Severe & Moderate Learning Disabilities and or Learning Difficulties at Capital City College.
This role is offered on a hourly basis.

About You
We're looking for a passionate and committed individual with:
* To provide effective teaching and assessment to students with complex learning difficulties and/or disabilities
* To develop vocational, communication and independence skills across the learner programmes
* To act as a tutor to a group of students, including report writing and regular parental In addition will be the link for all health/therapy input for your tutees ensuring it is smoothly embedded.
* To ensure that employability is built into and delivered throughout the curriculum
* To organise and monitor effective work experience relevant to the learners
* To work to improve retention, achievement and progression
* To contribute to appropriate administration tasks including writing regular references and reports on students for LAs, parents/carers, employers and for any other purposes.
* To participate in the interviewing and enrolling of students and assisting in advice sessions and
* To contribute to the planning and development of the new LLDD curriculum in light of the Children and Families Act
* To develop high quality individual resources for LLDD teaching
* To ensure high quality documentation and recording of the learner journey
* To comply with College quality monitoring policies and
* To attend course team/department meetings as
